It is our intent and passion, at
Fur-Bearer Defenders, to raise awareness about trapping and other fur cruelty
issues, to promote compassionate change.
We provide both information and resources to the public, the government, and the
media, with the objective of providing accurate, pertinent information and
effective tools to bring positive change for animals.

Fur-Bearer Defenders takes great pride in being careful, accurate, fair, and
responsible in the information and resources that we provide. We make every effort to ensure this standard throughout all
our work.
We feel that it is critical that the source of all our work be identifiable, so
that any potential questions regarding its origin, authenticity or accuracy, can
always be fully addressed by Fur-Bearer Defenders.
As such, we have set down parameters below for the proper use and crediting of

that reproductions of Fur-Bearer Defenders’ printed
materials and graphic art be limited only to high enough resolution
scanning and/or printing such that high quality is maintained, and to sizes that
maintain a text font size of at least 11 points for readability.
Please contact Fur-Bearer Defenders’ office for original quality copies
of our materials whenever possible. We
usually have numerous copies ready that we would be pleased to share with you,
to reduce the need for individual photocopying.

The photos on Fur-Bearer
Defenders’ website come from various sources.
Fur-Bearer Defenders holds the title to authorize reproduction on some of
the photos, but not others. Specific
